HOMEMADE CARD FUNDRAISER!!!!!!!

I know there hasn't been much action on the adoption blog for a while, but there hasn't been much going on sadly. We are just hoping and praying that we are matched very soon! Anyway we have a new fundraiser!!! One of our good friends, Megan Ward, here in Washington is doing this one for us. She is making and selling Christmas Cards! All proceeds go to our Adoption Fund! We are so thankful for this since we lost so much money in our failed adoption in July. Get your orders in now - 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Megan can customize them to your liking and can also do Birthday, Anniversary, and any others type of cards you may be interested in! To order contact Megan (mward21386@yahoo.com)

Long Time No Blog!

I just want to start by saying sorry! I am so sorry I haven't posted a blog post in over a month! We were pretty busy in September, which is a good thing! It is good to keep busy and keep our minds off the adoption waiting. Anyway I have started couponing as a way to save money! It has been going very well! I have been doing it for almost 2 months now and I really think it is going to save us a lot of money over time. I have been keeping track of all purchases since I have started and I have saved an average of 70%!!!!! I think that is pretty great! I have also gotten a lot of things for free, like paper towels, toothpaste, deodorant, and candy bars to name a few! So that keeps me pretty busy!

At the beginning of September over Labor Day weekend we went down to Portland, OR. We had never been, so we explored, we got to see the Rose Test Garden and were even able to spend a day with Kenny and Ash who were there for Kenny's sister's wedding!

At the end of September my parents came to visit and we had a great time! I showed them all about couponing and they thought it was pretty cool! Also we rented a boat one day and took it up to Deception Pass! It was really great to see them!!!
